About the Program

The Driver Delivery Program (DDP) helps prepare participants to become skilled and valued members of a transport team with a complete understanding of industry expectations. This heavy vehicle driver training program can put you on a pathway to a rewarding career. The program is an 8-day 2:1 training course that provides individually tailored training, mentoring, and behind-the-wheel practical heavy vehicle driving experience.

Skills and Training

Skills and training are major issues for the freight industry. The VTA has prioritised practical and theory-based training programs to train new freight workers and place them in well-paid freight and logistics jobs. Our Driver Delivery Program (DDP), offered in conjunction with Armstrong’s Driver Education, is fully subsidised and provided at no cost to participants and employers.
