Labour shortages in the freight, logistics and transport industry have been amplified by a triple whammy of pandemic restrictions, conflict in Eastern Europe and major flooding on Australia’s eastern seaboard. The transport industry has responded magnificently to get customers’ product to market and onto consumers, whose appetite for goods and services continues to grow.

However, with the age profile of transport workers continuing to increase, a reckoning is approaching that must be resolved. VTA State Conference 2023 will bring together experts from industry, government, regulators, and academia to advance discussions around Managing Transport’s Greatest Asset – its people.
