The Transport Industry Safety Group (TISG) convenes regularly with the Victorian State Coroner and other key stakeholders to address matters of safety and to develop programs aimed at making our roads and workplaces safer for the broader community.
Hosted by the VTA, the TISG meets regularly – facilitating a unique working relationship within one of the only such groups in Australia. It is made up of senior representatives from WorkSafe, the Transport Workers Union, the Victorian Transport Association, VicRoads, Victoria Police, the Transport Accident Commission, Bus Association Victoria, the Victorian Waste Management Association and the Australian Road Research Board Group, with the Coroner present as an observer.
