On Thursday 19th February FUEL Your Transport Career held a special event, a "Young Leaders Site Tour”
The FUEL group visited MaxiTRANS Ballarat manufacturing plant to find out more about Maxi-CUBE & Freighter. The State-of-the-art facility in Ballarat, with over 500 staff, is the most advanced and self-contained factory of its kind in Australia. The manufacturing plant, which is spread over some 7 acres, contains a monorail that runs the entire factory length. The monorail is a necessity considering that MaxiTRANS use over 500 tonnes of steel and 250 tonnes of aluminium in the plant every month.
